The loss of the moderators in their show "Joko & Klaas against ProSieben" brings us a new edition of the New Year's Eve classic "Dinner for One".

Unterföhring - A season finale, it has to be a bang.

Not only the fans of the most popular Netflix works know that too well.

Unlike some other series with a lot of tension, this season finale did not leave viewers afraid or with a nasty cliffhanger.

On the contrary: the end of the season finale of “Joko and Klaas against ProSieben *” made the fans of the two cheer happily.

For the last episode of the show with the funny dream team, which competes against their house broadcaster - some of which are represented by celebrities - the station in Unterföhring had meanwhile come up with something very special. The final edition of the season took place entirely on an ice surface. Joko and Klaas got shoes that were as slippery as possible on their feet for the evening. However, the euphoria quickly turned. Already in the first game, where five tasks had to be mastered on the ice rink, Joko summed up: "The show has just started and I'm really tired of it". A situation that made moderator Steven Gätjen immediately become a philosopher: “We know you can't, but we still believe in it”.

Ice cream or not: for Joko and Klaas things actually went surprisingly well on unfamiliar terrain. In games against stars like Sarah Connor or Palina Rojinski, the two gained a number of advantages that they took into the final and thus into the fight for 15 minutes of live broadcast time on ProSieben. However, the final went in the pants. In the last game, "The Great Failure," the moderators did exactly what the title describes. Briefly explained: The final game consisted of several small tasks. Both had a maximum of twelve attempts for the first task. The nasty thing: For the second task, Joko and Klaas only had as many attempts as they had needed to complete the first task. In other words, if you needed six attempts for task one, you only had six attempts for the second challenge.

It worked well in the first two games, but not in the third.

While the Darts World Cup * is running, at which a German recently caused a little sensation *, Joko and Klaas failed to score 20 points with nine throws on a darts board.

Frustration with Joko, who had previously been outraged about the "really shitty finale".

Because the viewers of the show can look forward to the punishment of the two. "Ladies and gentlemen, you can look forward to a real treat," announced Gätjen. “New Year's Eve at 8.15 p.m. there is a new version of 'Dinner for One'. With Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf ”. The house broadcaster ProSieben is also full of anticipation for “a new tradition”, as can be read on Twitter. “We look forward to your interpretation of the cult sketch. Learn your texts in advance. We expect precision, ”said a tweet from the station.

The fans are already celebrating the sentence on Twitter and Instagram *. Meanwhile, Joko and Klaas seem to be a little dreaded by it. “Imagine it will be a thing that will really run for 20 years. That would be the horror ”, Klaas summed up in the show in consternation. Whether it comes to that remains to be found out. In any case, the right time of broadcast has already been chosen: The new Sketch will run on New Year's Eve at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben - but who of the two is allowed to play Miss Sophie and who is allowed to play the butler James is still unclear.

In the previous edition, too, Joko and Klaas lost out and received a penalty from ProSieben.
