The supervisor of the exhibition explained to Sana reporter Etab Qabakibo that the Spring Autism Society is holding it with the aim of developing the skills of autistic children, supporting them and directing their creativity to what is useful.

The exhibition was followed by artistic performances on the stage, where the youth team of the Al-Rajaa Association for People with Disabilities presented a performance of the Homsi heritage, while the children of the Spring Autism Association presented a performance play, the Children of the Child Welfare Association presented a dance performance entitled “Palm on the right”, and the children of the War Wounded Association and the Hearing Impairment Association presented a paragraph “How sweet it is that We live,” while the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired presented paragraphs of poetry and playing, a performance by Amir Turkmani poetry and Osama Muhammad playing the violin.

The celebration also included lyrical pieces for the choir of the “The Fruits of Love” association, under the supervision of coach Julie Moussa, in which the children performed rap songs with a play and honored the two children Mahmoud Saadia and Abdul Rahman Al-Qayyim, who won the Ministry of Culture prizes for people with disabilities in the field of drawing.

Regarding the celebration, Samar Al-Mustafa, Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Homs, told SANA reporter that its aim is to provide moral support for children with disabilities to achieve success, which makes them distinguished in society.

In turn, Saba Wassouf, director of Child Culture in Homs and supervising the celebration, pointed out that through it they sought to shed light on the children who, with their disabilities, were able to prove that disability is not a stumbling block in the way of self-realization.
