Civil sources confirmed to SANA reporter that the checkpoints of the “Qasd militia” are currently checking the identity cards of the people while passing through the checkpoints and confiscating their ID cards, pointing out that dozens of students studying in the faculties of Al-Furat University in Al-Hasakah have had their ID cards confiscated and sent to the city of Qamishli, asking them to review to obtain The card according to which they are considered immigrants to the governorate.
The sources added that this measure, in addition to the fact that it comes within the framework of the separatist approach and policy pursued by the “Qasd” militia, constitutes a door to making a living and imposing royalties on the people who are now afraid to even pass through the locations of its militants in light of the intensification of its barriers and the patrolling of the roads that the people take far away. Muhammad Yahya, a young man from Deir ez-Zor studying in one of the faculties of the Euphrates University in Hasaka, tells the reporter: “Qasd militiamen detained me for more than an hour while I was on my way to the college and confiscated my personal card.
