A large-scale power failure disrupts the Christmas preparations of every second household in Aschheim - the cause is still unclear.

Aschheim

- On the eve of Christmas of all times, the electricity in Aschheim went out on a large scale.

148 households have already reported this on the website störungsauskunft.de.

The reasons are so far unclear, as well as how long the failure lasts.

At around 4 p.m. on December 23, the power went out in the local area of Aschheim.

The failure affected about every second household in the community, according to the information from the malfunction center of the Munich public utilities.

The cause is still unclear, but the stations will gradually be put back into operation - so the lights should shine again everywhere in Aschheim soon.

Until then, candles provide a pre-Christmas flair.
