The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, discussed today with the delegation of the Donetsk People's Republic, which is visiting Syria headed by the first deputy chief of the presidential office in the republic, Gennady Lebed, on the prospects for educational cooperation.
Minister Tabbaa stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries, especially in the field of education and the exchange of popular and cultural delegations, pointing to the necessity of upgrading and expanding relations and cooperating in the restoration of schools and the exchange of student delegations of outstanding students.
For his part, Lebed affirmed his country's readiness to enhance cultural and educational exchange, pointing to the strength of bilateral relations between Syria and the Donetsk People's Republic, which enjoy the support of the leaderships of the two countries.
