RTL throws broadcast from TV program - and takes a risk

A popular program has to leave the RTL program.
But fans can still watch the show.

For example, “Bachelor in Paradise” has been banned from the media library.
Now RTL is throwing a program completely out of the program.
It is about the series "Animal Rescuers with a Heart", which shows risky rescue missions and everyday life in the veterinary clinic, but also personal fates.
Domestic animals, as well as farm and wild animals, are the subject of discussion.
The show first aired in February 2021.
However, it developed into a quota flop on RTL.

"Animal rescuers with a heart" now at Vox
The show ran for 22 episodes in the afternoon program from 3 p.m. on RTL.
But the station has not yet completely written off the series and is giving it a new home on the subsidiary Vox *.
There the evening before on Saturday is known and popular for animal shows.
According to the TV program on the RTL press website, “Tierretter mit Herz” will start exactly during this period: From January 15, the RTL Group broadcaster will be showing repeats of the series on Saturdays from 5 pm.
With this, Vox is also taking a risk.

That resulted in a still very weak market share of 5.4 percent.
Vox is currently showing “Best friends with Kate Kitchenham” on the 5pm slot.
The series drew more than a million people in front of the screen in three out of four broadcasts so far.
So far it has been similar with the connection: “Hundkatzemaus” is also around the 1 million mark
