Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines: a truck hits the toll barrier and blocks eight lanes

The damage is only material but the scene is impressive.

"The truck did not slow down, it was completely embedded in the barrier," said a witness.

A heavy vehicle violently struck the Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines toll on the A10 motorway in the province-Paris direction.

The accident happened around 8 a.m. on Thursday.

According to the first observations, the driver, who comes out unscathed, would have entered the toll barrier, completely destroying at least one lane.

The trailer then folded in on itself, blocking the road the entire length of the road on seven additional lanes.

With the Yvelines gendarmerie motorway platoon just behind, the intervention only took a few minutes.

"The driver is in the process of being heard and subjected to a drug test," indicates a source on the spot.

The circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
