A former Ukrainian officer confirms the presence of British soldiers in his country

The former colonel of the Ukrainian Central Security Service Vasily Prozorov confirmed today the presence of British mercenaries and soldiers in Ukraine to build a military base in the country.

Sputnik news agency quoted Prozorov as saying that "the British are located in southern Ukraine, specifically in the Nikolaev region, where they are transported by air from the British Albion region to the Ukrainian Kolbakino air base."

He added, "The main purpose of this is to build and protect the naval military base that is being established in the city of Ochakov on the Black Sea coast," noting that the planes coming from Britain will carry engineers, specialists, equipment, logistics and security elements to protect the project.

According to Prozorov, the number of existing elements is estimated in the dozens, but he does not have enough information about the confirmed number.

The Russian Foreign Ministry had revealed earlier that British officers and soldiers are supervising the training of the Ukrainian army in Donbass, which is a flagrant violation of the Minsk agreements, which obligate the withdrawal of all foreign armed formations, military equipment and mercenaries from the conflict zone.
