"This decision follows the unstable health situation in Europe at present which results in the postponement of many fairs and the common desire of the two shows to place Paris as the capital of design by covering all its periods of creation
", specifies the event.
The final list of exhibitors and events will be unveiled at a press conference to be held early next year.
Drawing in the spotlight
Created in 2007, Drawing Now Art Fair puts the spotlight on drawing, between exhibitions, artist performances and comics. No less than 70 international galleries present hundreds of artists and thousands of works representative of the diversity of the genre. Collectors and art lovers are invited to discover the works of emerging and more seasoned artists. The program also includes a series of interviews around contemporary drawing with artists, curators and curators.
This year, the event will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Drawing Now Prize, created to "
support emerging creation and highlight the pioneering role of galleries
".
The lucky winner, chosen from among five finalists, receives an endowment of 5,000 euros and benefits from an exhibition at the Drawing Lab, a private art center dedicated to contemporary drawing.
