The funeral of Roberto Peretto, one of the three workers who died in Turin on 18 December following the collapse of a crane in via Genova, took place today in Cassano d'Adda (Milan).
Many people wanted to greet Roberto for the last time in the church of Santa Maria and San Zeno.
On the coffin a large bundle of blue roses and a photo of the worker.
To cry for him, among others, his girlfriend Clarissa and the brothers Marco and Giuliano.
"We are many this morning to greet our brother Roberto" said the priest moved during the religious service.
Also present at the funeral was the mayor of Cassano d'Adda Fabio Colombo, a childhood friend of Roberto, who had the flags of the town hall displayed at half mast as a sign of mourning.
"In 2021 you can't die like this," said the mayor.
Yesterday the funeral of the other two workers who died last Saturday took place: in Carugate the funeral of Marco Pozzetti (54 years old) and in Turin those of Filippo Falotico (20 years old).
