Hama-Sana
On the occasion of Christmas and New Year's Day, Hama Governorate, in cooperation with the branch of (Basmat Youth of Syria) Foundation, organized today in Salhab an entertainment party as part of the activities of (People of Good) entitled (Your joy is our holiday), with the participation of 400 children of martyrs, wounded and cancer patients.
The ceremony included many activities, lyrical and artistic paragraphs, and poetry, with the distribution of gifts accompanied by the character (Santa Noel) and a number of cartoon characters loved by children.
Ghosoun Moussa, Secretary of the Foundation's branch, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that this activity falls within the Foundation's goals of caring for the families of the martyrs and the wounded, drawing a smile on their faces and spreading joy in their hearts.
In turn, the Foundation's supervisor, Mazen Al-Haddar, indicated that the message of this activity is to confirm that light is stronger than the darkness of war, and that life is stronger than death, and the ultimate goal of the event is to bring joy to the souls of the largest possible number of children, especially the children of the martyrs, the wounded and the sick.
Marwa Al-Afif, the wife of a martyr and the mother of two children, expressed her appreciation for the role played by the “Syrian Youth Imprint” Foundation in providing programs and projects in support of the children of the martyrs and the wounded in order to draw a smile on their faces and bring joy to their hearts.
A number of the families of the martyrs and the wounded commended the efforts of the Foundation and everyone who contributes to bringing joy to the hearts of children and drawing a smile on the lips of the children of the martyrs and wounded who irrigated the land of Syria with their pure blood.
In turn, a number of children expressed their joy in this recreational activity, which constituted an important opportunity for them to express their creative and artistic talents and make them happy in an atmosphere of fun and joy.
The event was attended by the Governor of Hama, Engineer Muhammad Tariq Kreishati, a number of members of the People's Assembly and the leadership of the Hama branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party.
