The Greilingen municipal council has made final corrections to its plans for a “citizen-involved solar system”.
From 2023, the system is expected to deliver environmentally friendly electricity.
Greiling - The Greiling municipal council passed resolutions a little prematurely in November, which now had to be corrected in the most recent meeting.
Specifically, when advising on changing the zoning plan and drawing up a development plan for the “special area for community-based solar systems”, incorrect figures were assumed.
Therefore, the resolutions on this were partially revoked and then redrafted.
Tree planting and bat houses
“In the present plan, we can prove 1900 square meters of compensation area,” reported Mayor Anton Margreiter. These are completely located on the project area. A change was made to the location of the transformer building, which is now not to be built on the border with the city of Bad Tölz, but in the southeast of the area. Up to 18 orchards are to be planted on an area adjacent to the project area. Boxes for bats are to be hung in the existing trees that have yet to be planted. This area also counts as a compensation area.

The municipal councils finally agreed on their goal and approved both the change in the zoning plan and the preparation of the development plan without a dissenting vote.
