Several union leaders told AFP that they were "
in the process of
" leaving the regional council on Friday shortly before 1:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. in Paris), a source in the region joined by AFP confirmed.

We are going to buy our yam, blood sausage, pig, and we will find our comrades, among others, on the picket line of the Basse-Terre Hospital Center
," Elie Domota, leader of the LKP, told AFP, specifying that the collective would meet again on Monday.
