At 8 o'clock in the morning today (24th), a black light truck was driving along the Kwun Tong Bypass towards Mong Kok, and on the way to the Kowloon Bay International Exhibition and Trade Center, it was suspected of overturning and traversing the middle of the road.
The police arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident and direct traffic.
The Transport Department stated at 8:55 that part of the traffic lanes of the Kwun Tong Bypass affected by the accident had now been unblocked, but the traffic queues had to be dissipated and the current site was congested.
According to the road recorder footage circulated on social platforms, the vehicle involved suspected of losing control and rushing to the right lane when driving, hitting a rock in the middle of the road, and then turning over and traversing the road.
