(ANSA) - BOLZANO, 24 DEC - Some of the principals of schools in South Tyrol have received a request for compensation from a legal office for the suspension from the service of their principals, or teachers who have not been vaccinated. The Dolomiten newspaper tells it. According to the lawyers, the principals would not have the competence to verify the validity of the Green pass of the teaching staff. The request for compensation - also accompanied by the IBAN for the transfer - amounts to € 15,000 plus € 1,500 for legal fees that should be paid within 10 days, otherwise the complaint would be triggered. According to the councilor at the German language school Philipp Achammer, "it is not the task of the principals to verify whether a law corresponds to the EU directives or to the Constitution". For Achammer, it is instead a "absurd attempt to put the principals under pressure ".
