The Fourth Scout Regiment of the Syriac Orthodox in the city of Qamishli carried out a march that toured the streets of the Al-Wusta neighborhood to celebrate the birth of Christ.
The procession included songs related to the glorious Christmas and others emphasizing the love of the homeland and adherence to it.
And the priest Shimon Ibrahim, the pastor of St. Jacob Church, said in a statement to SANA reporter that on the occasion of the glorious Christmas, we join the people of Qamishli in a joyful march on the eve of the feast, and we congratulate the people of Syria for the victories of our Syrian Arab army.
In turn, the citizen Hanna Issa indicated that the people of Qamishli are celebrating today in the Al-Wusta neighborhood with all their components on Christmas Eve, pointing out that the great joy of the Syrian people is the liberation of the last inch of Syrian land from the abomination of terrorism.
