Today, Iraqi forces arrested a terrorist who tried to enter Khanaqin district in Diyala province.
The Iraqi Security Media Cell said in a statement transmitted by Alsumaria News that "in a qualitative intelligence operation, follow-up and accurate information for one of the joints of the Intelligence Directorate in the Ministry of Defense, a tight ambush was set up in Baba Mahmoud's control, the entrance to Khanaqin district, which resulted in the arrest of a terrorist wanted by the judiciary in accordance with Article 4 of terrorism." when trying to enter Khanaqin.
The joint Iraqi forces are continuing their operations to pursue the remnants of (ISIS) terrorists in various regions and territories of the country.
