Prague-Sana
The Czech peace movement renewed its rejection of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the West on the Syrian people and its condemnation of the occupation of parts of Syrian territory by the forces of aggression.
In a statement to SANA’s reporter in Prague today, the movement’s head, Milan Krajica, affirmed that “the movement supports Syria’s struggle to preserve its sovereignty and abide by international law and the United Nations Charter, and it is constantly convinced that the Syrian people alone can decide their political future and not any other party.”
Karacha stressed that the movement stands by Syria in confronting the imperialist attempts and its allied forces to sabotage Syria by interfering in its affairs and supporting terrorist groups.
He added, "We, as the World Peace Council, of which we are a member, stand continuously by the side of the Syrian people in their struggle to defend their territorial integrity, and we reject all kinds of sieges, coercive measures and foreign occupation of parts of Syrian territory."
