Russia denounced on Friday an attack with an incendiary device against its consulate general in Lviv, in the west of Ukraine, an incident which did not make a victim but intervenes in full tensions between Moscow and Kiev. “

," said Russian diplomacy.
Moscow adds that an interim representative from Kiev has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, where it has been addressed "
a strong protest
" and demanded that Ukraine ensure the safety of Russian diplomatic personnel.
This incident takes place in the midst of tensions between Ukraine and Russia, accused by the West of massing troops on the Ukrainian border with a view to possible military intervention.
The Kremlin firmly denies any belligerent intent.
Relations between Kiev and Moscow have already been appalling since Russia's 2014 annexation of the Ukrainian Crimean peninsula and the start of a war between Ukrainian troops and pro-Russian separatists.
