Tens of thousands of hikers visited the various sites today (Saturday) after the stormy and rainy week and the "Carmel" storm.

No more showers are visible on the horizon. 

However, the temperatures are still low and the evening and night will be particularly cold.


According to the Meteo Tech forecast, the weather will continue to be colder than usual tomorrow morning as well.

Later it will be clear, there will be a slight rise in temperatures and they will be average for the season.

In the second it will be relatively bright and comfortable, and in the north of the country moderate to strong easterly winds will blow.

On Tuesday it will be partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures, in the north of the country moderate to moderate easterly winds will blow.

A spokesman for the Nature and Parks Authority said that about 70,000 hikers went for a walk in the national parks and nature reserves on the sunny Saturday after a week of rain across the country.

Orit Steinfeld, acting head of the Audience and Community Division: "We saw many hikers who went out into nature after a rainy week.

"This is definitely a great time to hike, to watch the strong currents in the northern streams, the winter pools that were filled with rainwater, and the beginning of the winter flowering growth."

The most prominent sites: the Yarkon Tel Afek National Park with about 3,000 visitors, the Migdal Tzedek National Park with about 2,300 visitors, the Banias Nature Reserve with about 2,000 visitors and the Caesarea National Park with about 1,800 visitors.
