Egyptian transportation company will allow a simpler transfer of Gazans from the Gaza Strip to the Sinai Peninsula • The Egyptians stressed to the Bennett government the need to increase the number of licenses of Gazan workers in Israel

Egyptian sources involved in the mediation details between Hamas and Israel told the Qatari-affiliated Al-Arabi Al-Jadid newspaper today (Saturday) that senior Egyptian intelligence officials have begun implementing a key demand by terrorist organizations in Gaza regarding the Gaza movement in the Rafah crossing.

It was also reported that Egypt emphasized to the Naftali Bennett government the need to take steps concerning Palestinian prisoners to end the crisis, and also sought to increase the number of licenses for Palestinian workers within Israel.

This, as additional measures designed to prevent escalation and maintain calm.

As you may recall, the current number of licenses of workers from Gaza stands at 10,000.

As mentioned, the relief regarding traffic at the Rafah crossing comes as part of measures to absorb the anger of the terrorist organizations and prevent the possibility of a new security escalation.

It will be recalled that recently Hamas and the terrorist organizations expressed their dissatisfaction with what they defined as "procrastination" of Israel in contacts and commitments.

This, in addition to what the organizations described as a "delay" in the implementation of the facilitations promised by Cairo for the purpose of establishing a ceasefire at the end of Operation Wall Guard.

Hamas' media offensive also came out against the movement at the Rafah crossing.

Sources explained that the Egyptian measures are reflected in the return of the "non" company to the transition activity.

The company will transfer passengers to and from Gaza with new buses and under simple procedures as a first step, as part of a package of steps in the near future, which are supposed to facilitate traffic in transit.

The sources also stated in a conversation with al-Arabi al-Jadid that the company will have exclusivity in transporting Gazans from and to the Gaza Strip, and is part of the "Bnei Sinai" group, which is owned by businessman from the Sinai Peninsula, Ibrahim al-Rajani, and is affiliated with intelligence The Egyptian.

The same group also took part in the restoration of the rubble in Gaza from Operation Wall Guard.

According to the sources, Cairo's new move also carries Egypt's commitment to the previous promises of the mediation framework.

Sources said the current period would be a testament to Egypt's great effort in trying to persuade Israel to allow further relief to the Gaza Strip to prevent escalation.
