Avian flu takes on the dimensions of disaster: "The Hula Valley has become a crane cemetery"
The bodies dealing with the outbreak of bird flu in the Hula Valley say that "this is a world-class precedent-setting event that has no previous experience in treating it."
Following the outbreak, chicken coops were closed in the area and about 17,000 turkeys were killed.
There is a fear that the violent virus will undergo genetic modification and infect humans
