In appreciation and gratitude for the sacrifices of the martyrs and in loyalty to their pure blood, the Damascus governorate, in coordination with the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs at the Ministry of Defense, honored today 200 families of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army, at the Cultural Center in Kafr Sousa and the Governorate Club.

The honoring ceremony included patriotic songs glorifying martyrdom and martyrdom presented by the talents of the project (Tomorrow is Elna) and honoring the player of the Syrian national team and the governorate’s table tennis club, Hind Zaza, and the player of the Syrian national team and the governorate’s chess club, Malik Konya Lee.

A number of the families of the martyrs, in a statement to the representative of SANA, expressed their pride and pride in the sacrifices of their sons who sacrificed their lives for the homeland and defending the truth, stressing that the martyrs, with their pure blood, illuminated the path to victory over the enemies of the homeland and humanity.

In his speech, the Governor of Damascus, Engineer Adel Al-Olabi, said, “The martyrs, the makers of victory, baptized with their pure blood the meanings of masculinity and honor, and painted an honorable picture of the love of the homeland and dedication to defending it, and taught generations the values ​​of pride and redemption in sacrifice and defense of the land,” noting that the families of the martyrs are no less heroic than Their fathers and sons set the most wonderful examples of patriotism with their steadfastness and high patriotism.

In turn, the Director of the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs, Major General Bassam Berri, stressed that honoring the families of the martyrs is a tribute to every honorable Syrian citizen.

The honoring was attended by the Secretary of the Damascus Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party Husam Al-Samman, the Provincial Council Chairman Khaled Al-Harh, a number of members of the leadership of the Damascus branch of the party, the Executive Office and the Provincial Council, and Brigadier Lamis Rajab, director of boarding schools for the sons and daughters of the martyrs.
