Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of Hezbollah Sheikh Ali Damoush affirmed that the national resistance in Lebanon is on its way and adheres to its choices and positions, and will not abandon its national responsibilities, no matter how intensified the campaigns and pressures against it.

In today’s speech, Damoush said, “The American siege on Syria and Lebanon continues despite the misleading American positions and the reviews of American officials with the help of Lebanon,” stressing that Washington is still obstructing solutions in Lebanon and is working to deepen the crises and increase the suffering of the Lebanese people, and invest that politically and electorally.

In turn, the Vice-President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib stressed that the resistance has thwarted the enemy's divisive plans, starting with the wars waged against Syria, Iraq and Lebanon, and what Yemen is exposed to, all the way to the unjust siege on Iran.

Al-Khatib said, "With regard to our situation in Lebanon and the region, we are still facing a fierce media war waged by the dark rooms associated with the neo-colonialism that targets our national identity through the use of soft power after the resistance forces dropped its subversive projects," explaining that all these wars and those aggressive means are their first and last goal. Supporting the usurping Israeli entity to remain a dagger in the side of our country and a center for weaving conspiracies and spreading strife with the aim of distorting the image of the resistance and inciting it.
