After two years the public is tired and worn out, there is no longer the strength and desire to hear about the corona.
There is probably no citizen who has not done a pen test - on average everyone has done at least ten times.
We are tired of the closures, the isolations, the masks, the changing guidelines, the green and purple mark, the red states, the green classes, the zoom, the first, second, third and fourth vaccines.

We are tired of politicians giving guidelines but breaking them themselves.
Many readers are confused.
Although the medical community speaks in a consistent and clear voice, the networks are full of a lot of false information and crude lies without any scientific basis. Although most of us are tired and worn out from the corona, we must wake up. More than five million people have died from corona worldwide, in Israel more than 8,200 people, many still suffering from post-corona syndrome, others will continue to suffer from severe disability for life.
There is no doubt that the damage to the "margins" of the corona is no less severe - severe damage to the children's education, loss of livelihood for many, anxiety, depression, increased violence. All of these are just some of the phenomena that will affect us for many years to come. In the last two years the world has undergone significant changes, we have learned a lot about the new epidemic, we have mostly learned that we do not yet know much, we have learned that what was true yesterday is not necessarily true today, we have learned to make mistakes, we must make difficult decisions in conditions of uncertainty. True, mistakes have been made in the past. We spent many millions unnecessarily on soul instruments, used malaria drugs to help patients, and in the end realized that the harm outweighed the benefit. We forced everyone to walk around in the open air alone with a mask on, even when there was no risk of getting infected. However, solid and clear information has accumulated over the past year - vaccines for corona are life-saving. They prevent serious illness at the cost of mild side effects. We were very disappointed to realize that the effect is short and that booster doses are needed. We were happy to find out that the booster is safe.More than a billion people have been vaccinated worldwide against corona, controlled facts about millions of people clearly show that the vaccine saves lives and that the lack of a vaccine increases mortality. More than five million children have been vaccinated in the U.S. with only mild side effects. Could anyone in the medical community have concealed severe side effects at such large immunizations? Certainly not.
On a personal note, at Shaare Zedek Hospital, I have seen severe corona patients every day for the past few months, the vast majority of whom are not vaccinated as required. Some reach the soul and die, some are left with severe suffering. Corona, and I rarely see individuals with mild side effects after the vaccine. There is nothing to compare in severity and extent.
Today it is clear to everyone that the omicron is the most contagious strain.
But is it more deadly?
Probably not, but massive infection will undoubtedly endanger adults, immunosuppressants and those suffering from background illnesses.
We are in the fifth wave, and public behavior will have a decisive impact on its results.
Adherence to masks in enclosed spaces will save us and those around us.
We have no power and no desire for masks, but there is no choice.
The mask must be over the nose, and not decorate the chin.
We're tired of hearing about vaccines, but we have no choice.
If each of us is educated to be vaccinated as required, if we vaccinate our children, we will protect them and the entire population.
We owe it to ourselves to save lives and to allow a return to a normal life routine.
