Like his predecessors in the Oval Office, President Joe Biden continued the tradition of a live public conversation with American families on Christmas Eve to update American children on the delivery status of Santa Claus gifts.

As part of the conversation, which is being conducted by the North American Air and Space Defense Command, which is "following" Santa Claus' journey around the world, Americans are invited to get on the line and let their children express wishes and ask for gifts.
At one point a father of four got on the line with them.
One of the kids asked for a piano, another a "Nintendo" console and one of the girls a "Barbie."
But at the end of the conversation the father, named Jared, took the opportunity to curse the president in code language recognized on the fringes of the far right as a blatant message against Biden the father said: Merry Christmas and Let's Go Brandon ("Merry Christmas and Come Brandon)".
But Biden, who was apparently unaware of what the phrase meant (a slogan condemning Biden with a juicy curse), repeated what the father had told him live.
"Come on, Brandon, I agree," Biden replied and even asked the father if he was in the state of Oregon.
At this point in the conversation, Biden's staff interrupted her, apparently after realizing that they had fallen into a trap.

The White House has not yet responded to the many inquiries sent around the affair.
The slogan "Kadima Brandon" has become especially popular among right-wing extremists who are unwilling to accept Biden's victory in the 2020 election.
It stemmed from an incident at a NASCAR car race event when the crowd shouted curses in condemnation of Biden, but one broadcaster mistakenly thought they were referring to one of the race customs as Brandon Brown and cheering him on with the slogan "Come on Brandon."
