A tragic incident occurred in the United States.

A surfer was discovered lifeless in the water - he was apparently attacked by a great white shark.

Los Angeles - It is probably the worst possible idea for any water sports enthusiast in the open sea that a surfer now overtook off the California coast.

The man was killed there in a shark attack.

The previously unknown man was discovered on Friday by a female surfer lifeless in the water off the coast of San Luis Obispo County, the Coast Guard said according to media reports.

According to initial investigations, the man had apparently recently been attacked by a great white shark.

The stretch of coast of Morro State Beach, where the tragedy apparently took place, was closed to all water sports enthusiasts and swimmers for a total of 24 hours immediately after the body was recovered.

Meanwhile, it is not the first time that one of the dangerous marine predators has happened.

A surfer was last attacked and injured by a shark in the area in January 2019.

In the meantime, several shark alarms were recently set off in Australia - but the fault was a person who had made a stupid mistake.
