Assistant to the Iranian President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, confirmed that Iran will not raise uranium enrichment to more than 60 percent, pointing out that his country's goals of uranium enrichment are limited and limited to meeting industrial and consumer needs.
"Iran's limited objectives of enriching uranium to meet its industrial and consumer needs and industrial products that the country currently needs," Eslami said in an interview with the Russian Sputnik agency today, stressing that any nuclear activity carried out by Iran would be entirely within the framework of treaties, laws and regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Eslami stressed that the development of nuclear power plants is one of Iran's basic strategies, and it is an urgent need for the country and it will develop it.
On the security of Iran's nuclear facilities, Eslami said, "Our systems in the nuclear facilities are safe and we have controlled that they are not exposed to damage through measures we have taken."
