A 42-year-old caused thousands of euros in damage on a campaign of revenge.
The victim was able to follow the act on her smartphone.
Gerstetten / Baden-Württemberg - Disguised as a woman, a 42-year-old set fire to his ex-girlfriend's car in Gerstetten (Heidenheim district).
According to the police on Saturday, the man used a barbecue lighter.
The woman was notified by a silent alarm and was able to watch the crime on her cell phone via video.
Since she was not at home, she notified friends who could put out the fire on Friday.
There was damage of around 4,000 euros.
The perpetrator could be identified quickly, as the license plate number of his car could be seen on the video.
