At the end of its activities, the third Fahd Pallan Music Forum celebrated the Aleppo Qudoud through an artistic evening performed by the Ensemble troupe and choir on the stage of the Palace of Culture in the city of Suwayda.
The band and the choir, led by the artist Basman Harb, presented a bouquet of Al-Qudud Al-Halabi firmly rooted in the audience's conscience, while the lyrical heritage of the late Sabah Fakhri was attended by the voice of the singer Firas Al-Ans, who presented with the band some Qudud.
The songs of the late Fahd Ballan, whose name is the forum, were the end of the evening, as the choir sang some of them with the participation of the audience.
Both artists Harb and Al-Ans indicated that they tried to present music related to art and authentic music to satisfy the artistic taste of the audience with a taste for art, music and culture by celebrating the Aleppo Qudoud on the occasion of its inclusion on the list of human heritage of UNESCO, in addition to presenting a bouquet of songs of the late artist Fahd Balan, which became part of From the inheritance of the sons of Suwayda and engraved in their memory.
A number of attendees, who were filled with the theater hall, expressed their enjoyment of the evening, which took them to an atmosphere of rapture, originality and gentle taste, moving between the Aleppo Qudoud, the muwashahat and the songs of Fahd Ballan.
The activities of the last day of the forum also witnessed a presentation of the reality of the musical movement in the governorate and its conditions in the Palace of Culture, through which the director Rifaat Al-Hadi, head of the National Theater Department, presented proposals for the events of a musical renaissance and to highlight the great academic musical energies of the governorate and the renewed youthful voices and talents capable of presenting levels The closeness of professionalism is what qualifies As-Suwayda to be an artistic city, pointing to the importance of establishing artistic and singing festivals and creating a competitive situation by organizing committed song competitions that present singers capable of reaching stardom.
The activities of the forum, which was organized by the Directorate of Culture in conjunction with the twenty-fourth anniversary of the death of the artist Ballan, started last Thursday evening and included, for three days, evenings and various musical and lyrical concerts performed by a number of the governorate’s artists and orchestras, in addition to an art workshop to train the choir for children and young adults.
