The Syrian short film (Photograph) by film director Muhannad Kalthoum and produced by the General Film Organization is participating in the official competition of the International Oasis Film Festival in Morocco in its sixth session under the title (The Seventh Art as an Effective Means to Mitigating the Effects of the Corona Pandemic).

The festival, organized by the Nibras Al Atma Association for Fine Arts, with the support of the Moroccan Film Center in Tata, Morocco, is attended by 13 feature films from several countries, including (Morocco, Syria, Bulgaria, Egypt and Hungary).

The events of a photographic film revolve around the effects of the war that the country was subjected to on the Syrian child, including the increase in the phenomenon of child labor, as circumstances forced some to leave their studies either forcibly as a result of terrorism or voluntarily with the aim of helping their families and providing for their families, in addition to that the film presents the repercussions of war and the human struggle for survival.

The director of the work indicated in a statement to SANA that a photographic film participated in many Arab and local festivals as it talks about the category of children and what they have been exposed to during the war years, considering that Syrian cinema has remained shining despite all the difficulties and obstacles it has faced, and that it will achieve more progress and prosperity.

It is noteworthy that the script of the film was written by Buthaina Naissa and starring the artists Suleiman Al-Ahmad, Ghaleb Shandoba, Jamal Al-Ali, Sufouh Mimas, and Etab Abu Saada. The technical card of the film includes production director Khaled Al-Ahmad, director of photography, Muhammad Matar, lighting supervisor Jamal Matar, montage, graphics, Nour El-Din Al-Kurdi, music by Khaled Rizk and director of Ali outlet Al Maghout, Salam Husseino's scenographer, Rahaf Khaddour's script, Hassan Kokash's voice, Mohannad Beeda's photo, Public Relations Fater Suleiman, Mazen Sabboura's makeup, Hala Laham's clasps, and Sameh Hadaki's clothes.
