Yigal Brand, CEO of Betar Global, said ahead of the conference that "it is our duty, as a value movement that operates daily in the spirit of Jabotinsky, to open a window to the public for the teachings of the Betar founder, which is not just theory but practical tools for managing Israeli society. .

At the conference, we will seek to touch on the strengthening of Jerusalem through kick-starting entrepreneurship, as well as on conducting a stubborn national response in the face of local or general anarchy on the part of a minority in Israeli society. "

The Betar movement, the "Joseph Trumpeldor Hebrew Youth Alliance", was founded in 1923 by Ze'ev Jabotinsky, in Riga, the capital of Latvia. For the rest of his life, and in fact he is considered so to this day.

"Betar's role is quite simple," Jabotinsky wrote, "and yet it is very difficult to create the same Jewish type that the people need in order to establish the Jewish state more quickly and more perfectly."

Betar was named after Jabotinsky's good friend, Joseph Trumpeldor, and after the city of the citadel in Beitar. ("Brit Yosef Trumpeldor").
