Lam Cheng mentioned that this year’s Policy Address has stated that immediate action must be taken, including legislation to compulsory reporting of child abuse cases, strengthening training of relevant professional workers to identify child abuse, and implementing the Law Reform Commission’s “Causing or Allowing Child Abuse” as appropriate.
