Tehran-Sana
A source close to the Iranian team negotiating in the Vienna talks to revive the nuclear agreement reiterated his country's commitment to reaching a good agreement in the shortest possible time, indicating that the Iranian team is going to Vienna with strength and readiness and will remain there as long as necessary.
The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted the source as saying in a statement today that Iran is committed to reaching a good agreement in the shortest possible time, but it will not be hostage to fake deadlines, stressing that these deadlines will not change his country's red lines because there is no emergency in the Vienna talks.
The source added that with agreement on general issues in the previous round of talks, negotiators will discuss their content in the next round, and if the other parties are ready to focus on substantive dialogue, we can move forward, pointing out that the progress made on texts related to nuclear issues in the previous round is an indication of Iran’s serious interaction .
The source called on the other parties to show their goodwill regarding the embargo issues against Tehran, stressing that progress in the next round depends on the approach of the other side.
Regarding the Iranian side's complaints about the French team participating in the talks, the source confirmed that his country will not judge the French team now and will wait to see whether it will play a destructive role in the agreement or not in the next round of talks.
It is worth noting that the eighth round of talks on lifting the embargo on Iran will start tomorrow between representatives of Iran and the Four Plus One Group in the Austrian capital Vienna.
