The Sawa Center for Physiotherapy in Hama, in cooperation with Al Areen Humanitarian Foundation, launched an initiative to provide free physiotherapy for war-wounded.

Yasmine Shaheen, director of the center, said in a statement to SANA that the initiative includes providing free physical therapy and continuous follow-up to war-wounded "civilians and military," noting the center's work by providing home physiotherapy sessions or speech therapy sessions and psychological support through a team of specialists and experts, in addition to providing insurance Job opportunities suitable for the wounded within the small projects program.

Shaheen added that the Sawa Center team deals with war-wounded civilians and military personnel, and the number of beneficiaries of it is currently 1200 wounded, indicating that the center launched the medical program in its five main sections: “physical treatment, clinic, pharmacy, speech therapy, and development department.”
