Cocaine trafficking: this "white tsunami" hitting France

: the shock formula was pronounced on November 24 by the prosecutor Antoine Berthelot, on the occasion of a resounding trial in Lille covering a vast drug network to the port of Le Havre.

It testifies to the extent of a monster traffic which plagues the country.

According to our information, more than a ton of powder from Colombia was seized on December 22 near the Norman port by the Anti-Narcotics Office (Ofast) which arrested several traffickers.

At the beginning of the month, still in the city of Océane, customs officers seized nearly 1.5 tonnes of powder in a container.

Coming from Panama, the merchandise, packaged in 39 bags, changed ships four times to confuse the issue.

At the end of May 2021, at one of the Le Havre terminals again, two refrigerated cargoes of grapes and mangoes contained a ton of “white”, almost pure.
