A fatal car accident on Shek O Road in Chai Wan. Both private cars and motorcycles caught fire after colliding. The situation is rare. a private car was travelling east on Shek O Road near Tiandi Wan and hit a woman surnamed Li (51) who was chasing a bus out of the road. She fell to the ground with serious head injuries and was comatose. She was certified dead after being sent to the hospital.
On 12/10/2021
, a 32-year-old man surnamed Yan (32) drove a motorcycle along Shek O Road towards Big Wave Bay. Near Shek O Beach, a strong wind was suspected. The motorcycle lost control and crashed into a barrier. The vehicle separated and was seriously injured and died.
