Italy recorded 24,883 infections and 81 new deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The Italian Ministry of Health indicated that the total number of injuries recorded in the country reached five million and 647 thousand and 313 injuries, while the total number of deaths reached 136,611 deaths.
Italy ranks 11th in the world in terms of the number of infections with the Corona virus, especially after the rapid spread of the Omicron mutant in the country.
