The trailer for the movie "Nostradamus" (Youtube / Nostradamus 1994)

The new year is almost here and more than ever - perhaps because of the corona - our head is preoccupied with the future to come. Let’s face it, we were happy to get from one of the ancient prophets some hint of the current plague before it came, so that you would not catch us so unprepared. Now we are all praying that 2022 will be a better year and looking for clues in ancient writings that will testify to that. If you are looking for any pinch of hope in the famous prophet Nostrum - you have probably turned to the wrong person.

Michel de Nostradamus, aka "Nostradamus" - the French astrologer, physician and prophet, predicted mainly disasters. It ostensibly predicted some of the greatest events in world history including the rise of Adolf Hitler, the great London fire, the assassination of former United States President John F. Kennedy and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

All of his devastating predictions can be found in his book Les Prophéties, in which you will find a collection of 942 poetic sentences ostensibly predicting future events - up to 3797. The first edition of this book was published in 1555, just over a decade before the Prophet's death. It is important to know that historians mention that the encrypted snippets of Nostradamus are too vague to be considered reliable information about what will happen in the future. Brian Dunning, a science-fiction writer and creator of a skeptic podcast, explained: "Nostradamus' writings are exploited in a number of misleading ways. "It's all wrong in the end." Even with regard to his predictions come true - the huge fires, climate change and economic crisis - keep in mind that these are all things that happen quite frequently, so it is quite equivalent to the prophecy that the sun will rise tomorrow. Additionally,Many predictions attributed to Nostradamus are nothing but misinterpretations of his writings, which have been adapted to the modern period to suit certain historical events.

Although Nostradamus almost never has good news for us, we set out to find out what he expects to happen to us in 2022. We have collected 10 of his more interesting predictions and here they are:

There will be fun here in 2022.

Stay. (Photo: ShutterStock)

  • 1. Rise in inflation, a significant drop in the value of the US dollar.

  • Conflicts between countries will lead to an increase in global hunger.

  • 3. At least two loud explosions of nuclear bombs will lead to climate change, earthquakes, floods, three days of darkness and even a change in the position of the earth.

  • 4. A meteor shower and meteor shower could put an end to our planet at the end of the year, though more likely these will cause tsunamis and strong earthquakes.

With us soon? (Photo: ShutterStock)

  • 5. Artificial intelligence is expected to control and take over the human race - and will eventually lead to its elimination.

  • 6. Crisis in France - A major storm in the country will lead to floods, fires and drought elsewhere in the world.

France appears frequently in Nostradamus' predictions, and the "storm" can also be interpreted as a possible war.

  • 7. The deaths of Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un.

According to the Prophet, the President of Russia will die in a lightning strike during a stormy night in 2022. The North Korean ruler is expected to die in an accident, but a member of his family will continue his legacy.

  • 8. People cloning will begin in 2022 and will eventually lead to global destruction.

  • 9. Islamic terrorist organizations will attack in London.

  • 10. Aliens are planning an attack on Earth.

NASA noted in a report released last month that it is open to the idea that there is extraterrestrial life - and it may soon be they who will bring about the end of life on our planet.

Here are all his predictions for 2022 in detail:

Nostradamus' predictions, written about 500 years ago, are common and researched around the world to this day.

However, they have often been found to be incorrect.

For 2021, he predicted that space flight would be accessible to everyone, that robots would rule the world and that a third world war would break out here.

All of these, of course, did not happen.

What did happen?

He predicted an ongoing economic crisis, extreme climate change and earthquakes - but as we have noted before, all of these occur quite frequently, so it is quite equivalent to a prophecy that the sun will rise tomorrow.

We hope that this time too Nostradamus will not be accurate in its destructive forecasts and wish 2022 better than the past two years.
