The Southern District Attorney's Office filed today (Sunday) in the Beer Sheva District Court, an indictment against Dekel Sheshonkar, carrying AIDS suspected of spreading the disease and sexual offenses.
The indictment, which includes seven charges against seven different complainants, attributes to him in respect of six of them offenses of an act likely to spread illness and rape, as well as additional offenses of indecent acts and receiving anything fraudulently.
According to the indictment, filed through attorneys Moran Gaz and Hadas Amar, between the years 2021-2013, Shunkar recognized the complainants, one of whom was a 13-year-old minor in 2013, and some with special needs.
Defendant knew the complainants in various ways, including through social media, mutual acquaintances and in other ways.
In some cases, Shunkar used to locate women who needed help, presenting a false impression that he intended to help them financially, emotionally and treat them.
He impersonated, among others, a law specialist in the field of medical malpractice, an emotional therapist and a Krav Maga instructor.
After getting to know the complainants and gaining their trust, the defendant systematically and serially used to arrange to meet with them, then committing serious sexual offenses with them, in some cases by force, and in some cases begging him to stop his actions, and repel him, but to no avail.
