The police are investigating.

Otterfing

- The evidence looks as if someone had set his red VW Passat against a delineator post and a tree on the district road MB 2 between Wettlkam and Steingau on Christmas Eve - and then first removed himself and then the car involved in the accident.

As the Holzkirchen police report, a message was received on Christmas Eve around 5 a.m. that a damaged red VW Passat was parked between Wettlkam and Steingau (Dietramszell municipality).

When the officers from the Holzkirchen inspection arrived at the scene of the accident, the car had disappeared;

however, it was easy to find various vehicle parts, a crashed delineator post and a damaged tree on the side of the road.

The police estimate this damage to nature and traffic technology at around 200 euros.

In view of the torn off vehicle parts, it is likely to have hit the Passat much worse.

The Holzkirchen Police Inspection has already started investigations into the driver of the vehicle.

Witnesses who can provide information about who caused the accident or the Passat are asked to contact the police on 0 80 24/90 740.
