On December 3, 2021, Sebastian Kurz announced his retirement from the political stage.
As the Kronen-Zeitung reports, the former Chancellor is looking for a new challenge in the USA.

Sebastian Kurz, the youngest chancellor in the history of Austria, announced his departure from politics.
Previously, the ex-Chancellor stumbled upon allegations of corruption raised in connection with purchased surveys in newspapers.
As the
Kronen-Zeitung
reported, Kurz is now looking for a new professional challenge in the United States.
The contract has been signed and the commitment is to be made public shortly.

had experts estimate the future salary of the ex-chancellor at 500,000 euros.
That would be significantly more than the chancellor's salary;
22,283 euros gross per month - 312,000 euros per year.

The former politician will apparently take up a managerial job in Silicon Valley, reports the

The area near the metropolis of San Francisco is known for tech companies like Intel, Apple and Nvidia that have their headquarters there.
Kurz can look back on a meteoric rise in politics: the 35-year-old held the office of State Secretary, Foreign Minister and was most recently Federal Chancellor.
Kurz broke off his law studies because of his success in politics.

Sebastian Kurz is also said to have secured a position on the supervisory board of an international company.
