The Yemeni armed forces announced today that they were able to liberate most of the lands of Al-Jawf Governorate, northern Yemen, after battles with the forces of the Saudi aggression and its mercenaries.
The armed forces said in a statement, "Our forces succeeded in liberating the Al-Yatama area and its surroundings in Al-Jawf Governorate and defeating the forces of aggression and their mercenaries in a wide military operation that took place under the name (Dawn of the Desert), explaining that the area of liberated lands during the operation is estimated at more than 1,200 square kilometers."
The statement indicated that with this operation, "Al-Jawf Governorate will be completely liberated, except for some desert areas," noting that during the operation heavy losses were inflicted on the forces of aggression and large quantities of weapons were seized.
The statement added, "The armed forces, as they are facing escalation today, will not hesitate to carry out more qualitative military operations during the coming period within their legitimate defense of the people and the country... and they have the appropriate options to confront the enemy and respond to all its crimes and attacks."
Yesterday, the Yemeni armed forces announced the implementation of a qualitative military operation against sensitive and important sites of the Saudi aggression forces.
