It probably worked: Germany just achieved the federal government's goal of 30 million vaccinations between mid-November and the end of the year.
The vaccination marathon even runs over the holidays!
Like in the vaccination center on Theresienwiese, which had extra extended opening times over Christmas and the holidays.
From 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., doctors and medical assistants vaccinated in unison.
Extended opening times in the tent at the Oktoberfest are also planned for New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve.
“Get yourself a booster for Christmas!
The booster vaccination ensures that you start the new year better protected, ”health officer Beatrix Zurek had advertised the campaign.
The city of Munich has not yet submitted an official vaccination balance for the holidays.
Corona vaccination on the holidays in Munich: the main thing is that it is boosted!
I live nearby and came by spontaneously for my booster vaccination.
Everything runs smoothly here - I just really feel sorry for the security.
They have to work on the holidays - and then there are people who actually argue about because they would rather have Biontech.
I think the main thing is boosted!

Vaccinated in Munich: No violent reaction
For me it was the second vaccination today on Christmas Day.
If necessary, I would have had it injected on Christmas Eve, I didn't have any severe side effects from the first vaccination, so I don't expect a bad vaccination reaction from the second.
I made the appointment two weeks ago.

Munich: The rest of the time used for vaccination
I only made my booster appointment three to four days ago - quite spontaneously.
I am glad that they got the vaccination today on the holiday.
With the second vaccination I had a stronger reaction, so it is convenient that I now have two public holidays in which I can take a good rest.
But maybe the reaction isn't that strong this time either, let's see.

The boster syringe on the holidays in Munich: Finally an appointment!
For me there was the booster injection today.
I was really surprised that people also work here on public holidays - a great opportunity for everyone who has to work during normal opening hours.
Inside it was super relaxed, the staff is friendly.
You currently need a bit of luck to get a free appointment, so you take what you get.

Corona vaccination in Munich: Everything went very quickly
I was here a bit before my actual appointment and came out earlier, so I'm completely satisfied with the waiting time.
I would have had myself vaccinated on the 24th, I don't care about the day.
I have now started my second vaccination booklet because my first one is full - and I only had side effects from a single vaccination.
