The Ministry of Transport warned drivers of the formation of thick fog on international roads, especially the axis of Homs, Hisya, Deir Atiyah, Al-Nabek, Maaloula, Al-Qatifah, Damascus, during the hours of night and dawn.
In today's statement, the ministry advised drivers to be very careful and attentive while driving, reduce speed as much as possible, leave more space between cars, use fog lights and open the window a little, because visibility will be limited to the surrounding environment, turn on the car heating to improve visibility, avoid changing lanes except when necessary, and not overtake neighboring cars. .
The ministry also advised drivers to be patient and focus, not to use a mobile phone and other things that may reduce attention, not to use the four-wheel danger lights while driving and driving on slow lanes, and not to venture at night except in very urgent cases.
