A strong winter monsoon is bringing cold weather to the south China coast. The temperature in various districts of Hong Kong dropped to 10 degrees or below this morning.
The Observatory predicts that the weather in Hong Kong today is cold, cloudy, with a few rain patches, with a maximum temperature of about 12 degrees, with fresh northerly winds, and strong winds offshore and on high ground occasionally.

The Transport Department stated that due to emergency repairs to the water mains, the express lane between Ma Tau Wai Road (round-trip direction) near Hung Hom Commercial Centre has now been closed.
The express lane on Hok Yuen Street (toward Ma Tau Wai Road) has also been closed, and vehicles cannot turn right into Ma Tau Wai Road.
Motorists can only use the remaining traffic lanes.
In addition, due to emergency road repairs, the express and central lines of Tokyo Street (toward Baoan Road) near Wonju Street are now closed.
