Today, members of the Criminal Security Branch in Tartous governorate arrested a gang of 3 people who stole homes and shops in different areas of the city and its countryside.
Major Ammar Istanbouli from the Criminal Security Branch in Tartous told SANA reporter: That with the follow-up from the competent authorities of the wanted persons and those with precedents and thefts in the city of Tartous and its countryside, information was received that 3 people offered a set of stolen items for sale, and the necessary ambush was set up for them and their arrest.
Istanbouli explained that by interrogating them, they admitted that they, along with a number of people, had robbed several houses in the village of Belka, and robbed shops, generators, air compressors, and a large group of water pumps from the entrances to the buildings in Dower Sheikh Saad and Sheikh Saad, in addition to a group of gas cylinders and cellular devices through The citizens are overlooked, pointing out that most of the stolen items have been recovered and handed over to their owners, and those arrested will be duly presented to the judiciary to receive their just punishment.
