Managed by the Docteurs Bru association and with an annual budget of 1.6 million euros, the home will accommodate 25 children up to 18 and 21 years of age placed by Social Assistance for Children.
Schooled in neighborhood establishments, the children welcomed by the structure will be accompanied by a team of specialized educators and will receive appropriate psychological support.
When they come of age, the young people will leave the home to go to apartments located nearby, where they will continue to be followed.
The establishment will be the second of its kind in France, after the house of Agen (Lot-et-Garonne), also managed by the Docteurs Bru association.
