Söder informs: A man says he was sent away at the Hausham vaccination center during opening hours.

Can't be, replies the district office.

Because he was sent away in the evening during the opening hours of the vaccination center in Hausham, a citizen even complained to Prime Minister Söder.

The district office denied the description, but another citizen now underpinned the criticism.

Update: Holzkirchnerin describes a similar experience

A woman from Holzkirchen supported the description of a reader that the vaccination center in Hausham was the last to turn away people even before the official closure at 8 p.m. In his indignation, the man even turned to Prime Minister Markus Söder. He was turned away on Wednesday.

Last Tuesday, from 7:20 p.m. to 7:40 p.m., she stood in line in front of the vaccination center, wrote the woman, who does not want to be named, in an email to the editorial team. A man who was standing in the queue suddenly came back from the entrance and reported that the staff had hung a sign in the door that it was closed without an explanation. She held out for a moment, said the woman, but then gradually the other people who were waiting also left. "I wasn't upset myself, I just found it rude that there was no explanation for us why everything was closed at 7.40 p.m.," writes the woman from Holzkirchen.

The district office had vehemently denied to our newspaper on Thursday that the vaccination center would close early.

Anyone who demonstrably queues during the official opening times - in this case until 8 p.m. - will be served.

By the way, on Christmas Eve at 10 o'clock the woman from Holzkirchen tried her luck again - and this time had positive things to say: "There was no queue, and the team on site was very friendly and nice."

- How much the topic of vaccination against Corona moves people in the district, shows an email that a reader of our newspaper and Prime Minister Markus Söder sent yesterday: He queued in front of the Haushamer vaccination center on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. asked, he reports.

Shortly afterwards, he was sent away by an employee with ten other people waiting because he wanted to call it a day.

Even though the vaccination center is officially open until 8 p.m.

Corona: Rejected at the vaccination center - man writes a letter to Söder

“How can that be?” Writes the reader. “We are facing the country's greatest challenge in the pandemic, and citizens willing to vaccinate are turned away at the vaccination center.” Vaccination centers should vaccinate until they drop, especially in the evening because many workers cannot come earlier.

A spokeswoman for the district office describes the man's statement at the request of our newspaper as a "punch in the pit of the stomach for all employees of the vaccination team".

It does not correspond to reality;

the employees actually vaccinated - as requested by the reader - “to the point of exhaustion”.

On Wednesday, the last person vaccinated left the center after 9 p.m.

The team then cleaned up by 10.30 p.m.

Anyone who queues during opening hours will always get a vaccination.

District Administrator Olaf von Löwis (CSU), who stopped by the vaccination center yesterday to thank the employees for their commitment, was "absolutely shocked" by the reader's presentation.

Corona: Letter sent to Söder - District Administrator "shocked" because of the vaccination center experience

The vaccination center only rejects those waiting if they can be shown to be in the queue after 8 p.m., the spokeswoman continues: "Because there has to be an end at some point." That happened to four people on Wednesday.

However, these would have left the forecourt without discussion.

How it could come to the conflicting representations of the reader and the district office could not be clarified yesterday.

The man also rules out having made a mistake in time.

He wanted to try again on Thursday evening to get a vaccination.
