Monday morning there were delays on the main line of the S-Bahn in Munich.

This morning there were disruptions in the S-Bahn traffic on the main route towards Munich East.
A passenger pulled the emergency brake without authorization.

There were delays on the main route in the direction of Munich East on Monday morning.
Munich: Emergency brake improperly activated - delays in S-Bahn operations this morning
As announced by Deutsche Bahn, a passenger unauthorized actuated the emergency brake in the Munich Hauptbahnhof S-Bahn station at 8.15 a.m.
As a spokesman for Deutsche Bahn announced on request, traffic on the main route could be fully resumed after just ten minutes.
The following traffic was delayed by up to six minutes.
From nine o'clock on, the traffic on the main route is again unrestricted.
Munich Central Station: Passenger pulls handbrake without authorization
It is not yet known why the handbrake was pulled.
The Federal Police in Munich have not yet received any reports.
The fine for improperly operating the handbrake in rail traffic is 200 euros.
Unless the passenger can prove that there was no damage to the railway or that the damage was significantly lower.
Unauthorized use of the handbrake has occurred several times.
In May of this year, a man suddenly pulled the emergency brake on a S-Bahn at Hirschgarten am because another passenger had put his feet on the seat.
Delays and failures in Deutsche Bahn's S-Bahn operations are nothing new to commuters.
